Glycerin
Type: Excipient
Glycerin is an odorless, clear liquid typically derived from soybean, coconut or palm oils. It is commonly used in skincare products due to their moisturising properties.
Studies have shown that glycerin can increase skin hydration, smoothness and suppleness. It may also soothe skin irritation, strengthen skin barrier against bacteria, and promote wound healing.
