Using GNC BabyTM Vitamin D-3 Drops is an easy way to provide the additional vitamin D your breastfed baby may need. Vitamin D supports strong bones and teeth and is an especially important nutrient during infancy and childhood.
The American Academy of Pediatrics currently recommends that healthy, full-term babies who are exclusively or partially breastfed be supplemented with 10mcg (400IU) of Vitamin D per day until the infant is weaned to at least 33.8 ounces (1 liter) of whole milk daily. The Vitamin D content of breast milk depends on her vitamin D status, which can be low for several reasons.
Regardless of age, GNC recommends that individualized dosing be discussed with your pediatrician prior to use because of each child’s unique nutritional needs.
Store in a cool, dry place.
