- Awesome Milkshakes!
Just purchased a tub of French Vanilla Cream and I must say that it was better than I had expected it to be. Having tried the vanilla ice cream flavour, which I did not like that much, I was not very confident of another vanilla based flavour. But, this one is really good! When i opened the tub, it really smelled just like their cookies n cream, which had me wondering if I got the wrong one.. But when i mixed it with water, it tasted a lot more vanilla like, so that was not an issue. When compared to vanilla ice cream, I would say that this one really brings out the vanilla flavour, but it is also notably sweeter (I don't really mind it though). I usually use about 200 ml of water, but if its really too sweet, then i'd just increase it to 250ml which kind of masks the sweetness a bit. The next day I tried it with low fat milk and I have to say that it tasted amazing. It honestly tasted as good as the generic vanilla milkshakes (5 stars right there). I really have to say that if you don't really mind your whey being a tad bit sweeter than the usual flavours, you have got to try this. (With milk especially). So looking forward to every post workout shake. Oh and I also tried blending a shake with milk, banana and peanut butter.. Really awesome stuff!
